This Privacy Policy describes how Slay LLC ("Slay," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information submitted by creators, influencers, and independent contractors (collectively, "Contractors") through our contractor payment form and related business processes. By submitting information to Slay LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. COMPANY INFORMATION

Business Type: Slay LLC is a U.S.-based influencer marketing agency and creator services company. We engage independent contractors and creators in connection with marketing campaigns, brand partnerships, and related creative services.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect personal information submitted voluntarily by Contractors through our contractor payment form and related onboarding and payment processes.

2.1 Basic Identity Information

  • Full legal name

  • Business name (if applicable)

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Mailing address

2.2 Tax Reporting Information To comply with U.S. tax reporting requirements, we collect:

  • Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Social Security Number (SSN)

  • Federal tax classification

  • Name as it appears on IRS Form W-9

  • Uploaded W-9 documents or signed W-9 forms

2.3 Payment Information To facilitate timely and accurate payment, we collect payment account details including, as applicable:

  • PayPal email address

  • ACH bank account information (account number and routing number)

  • Wise account email address

  • Wire transfer details (bank name, account number, routing or SWIFT/IBAN codes)

  • Zelle-registered email address or phone number

2.4 Uploaded Documents Contractors may be asked to upload supporting documents, including but not limited to IRS Form W-9 and identity verification documents. All uploaded documents are treated as confidential and handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

3. HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION

Slay LLC uses the personal information collected through the contractor payment form solely for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Processing and issuing payments to creators and independent contractors

  • Maintaining internal accounting and financial records

  • Complying with U.S. federal and state tax reporting requirements, including the preparation and filing of IRS Form 1099-NEC and related tax documents

  • Verifying contractor identity when required for compliance, legal, or payment processing purposes

  • Communicating with Contractors regarding payment status, tax documentation, and other business matters

Contractor data may be stored and retained for purposes of tax reporting, financial recordkeeping, and legal compliance, as further described in Section 6 below.

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

Slay LLC stores Contractor information in secure business systems, which may include:

  • Airtable (cloud-based data management platform)

  • Accounting software and financial management tools

  • Internal financial records and administrative files

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to protect personal and financial information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Access to sensitive Contractor information, including SSNs, EINs, and banking details, is restricted to authorized personnel with a legitimate business need to access such data.

5. SHARING OF INFORMATION

Slay LLC does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties. We may share Contractor information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Accounting providers and bookkeeping services engaged to support our internal financial operations

  • Tax preparation services or professionals engaged to prepare and file required tax documents on our behalf

  • Payment processors and financial institutions necessary to execute payments to Contractors

  • Government authorities, regulatory agencies, or tax authorities (including the Internal Revenue Service) where disclosure is required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process, including for purposes of tax compliance and reporting

Any third parties with whom we share Contractor information are required to handle such information in accordance with applicable law and are not authorized to use it for any purpose other than the specific service they are providing to Slay LLC.

6. DATA RETENTION

Slay LLC retains Contractor tax and payment records for as long as required under applicable U.S. federal and state tax laws, accounting standards, and legal obligations. In general, this includes retention periods of up to seven (7) years or longer as may be required by law.

After the applicable retention period has expired, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize personal information in a manner consistent with our legal obligations.

7. CONTRACTOR RIGHTS

Contractors may contact Slay LLC at any time to exercise the following rights with respect to their personal information:

  • Request an update or correction to their payment account information or other personal data on file

  • Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete personal information

  • Ask questions about how their personal information is stored, used, or protected

We will respond to all reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that certain information may be required to be retained for legal, tax, or compliance purposes even upon a request for deletion.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our contractor payment form and related services are intended solely for adult Contractors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor, we will take prompt steps to delete such information.

9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Slay LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting of the revised policy, and the updated effective date will be reflected at the top of this document. We encourage Contractors to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed of how we handle personal information.
